Wheel of Fortune 🔮 Wheel of Change
Finally, the wheel of fortune
Stopped me in my tracks and made me learn to let go
Trust in the process, you have everything, you are everything
No matter what twists and turns
You will always go back to that yellow line on the horizon
Back to the stars, to the light
You go back to where you came from
There is no need to worry or fear
Just keep going
While painting the clouds, in a moment of panic, I received a strong message to just let go
Oh, what am I doing, they don’t look how I imagined them... maybe I should paint faster?
Not in stress, but rather… in a more playful, spontaneous way.
To let the image emerge instead of forcing it to become.
To snap out of my rigid and controlling way, of creating, of being.
Try something new, do it quickly, no need for so many hard lines all the time...
What can you learn from paint?
Movement, change, layers, seasons
Impermanence
It doesn't have to stay the same
So why such fear around it going wrong?
When you can always just start again?
When you can just create a new reality on top?
With a stronger foundation, whether or not you can see the layers underneath
It didn't work? Amazing. One more thing to add to the "let's not do that again" list. The longer it is, the closer we can get to achieving something harmonious.
In general, we only get things right the first time when we are repeating a pattern.
If we are truly experimenting... Truly innovating... It rarely just poofs into existence in its most evolved form.
Things take time, patience, to be constructed, to be properly realized. To build a castle you must start with one stone...
The wheel spins, nothing stays as it was
Paintings give us the illusion of something "fixed" and "finished" - but even art, in time, will go back to the earth
Colors fade
Surfaces crack
And the illusion begins to bend, shattering our desperate grasps for eternal life, reminding us that
Everything is reborn in motion
