Bringing together four architects from different generations and contexts, the exhibition explores drawing as more than a technical tool: a space for intuition, reflection and artistic expression. Through engravings, sketches, visual notes and ink washes, Architectural Drawings reveals how drawing becomes an essential part of architectural thinking and creation.

In his new large-scale work Laredo, composed of four engraved plates, Juan Escudero evokes the movement and energy of the sea through thousands of finely engraved lines that flow seamlessly across the composition. Suggesting ocean currents, waves, and shifting light, the work creates a powerful sense of rhythm and depth. Rather than depicting a specific landscape, Laredo captures the essence of water in motion, transforming a meticulous graphic process into a poetic meditation on nature, time, and continuous change.

The lightboxes that compose the present curatorial project generate a space in which light produces form and accompanies its variations. Matter allows itself to be penetrated and, through this process, acquires density. The plastic bags they incorporate —fragile, translucent and porous— become active surfaces that contain a fleeting, at times elusive present. Stripped of ornament, they allude to humanity’s growing disaffection from the natural environment.

Avui celebrem una nova trobada dins del programa The Collector Is Present a Pigment, amb la presència de l’artista Francesca Poza juntament amb els col·leccionistes Lluís Guilera, José Luis González i Maria Clara Arbelaez Pardo.

Plegats, compartiran una conversa al voltant de la pràctica tèxtil, el col·leccionisme i els desplaçaments de significat de l’obra d’art com a objecte a partir de la pràctica de Poza.

L’ocasió va acompanyada d’una presentació especial d’obres i escultures de Francesca Poza a la Sala 2.
