Every year I decide that I will be sharing more about my work and projects I am working on and every year it goes the same 😅
I guess partially this might be because of the impostor syndrome as my degree is not in design and I quite often doubt if I am actually good at it 😔. Therefore I decided to challenge myself, go out of my comfort zone and share more about my work here.
It is definitely scary as I guess I am afraid of being judged, but maybe this is exactly what I need in order to grow.

I will be happy to hear your opinions and hopefully I will be showing up here more often to explain both about adventures as well as professional life 🤍

Hi there!
My name is Olena and I am a self taught designer. My journey into graphic design started more than 2 years ago with taking an online course via Coursera from which I "graduated" having the basics of colors, alignments, art history and a HUGE desire to create. I was scrolling through Behance, Pinterest and all around looking at beautiful designs trying to understand what makes it so appealing to my eye. I would play with my imagination inventing designs but would be lucking the skills to put it on canvas, which at times would create frustration and disappointment. But I wouldn't give up and would keep finding my way through untill I managed to become a full time freelancer without any previous experience working in design studio🌿
I will be sharing more about my personal journey into full time freelance and if you are interested in knowing more, you are more than welcome to join here 🙃

A while ago I started working on the brand identity for AI startup MeliorAI.
I wanted the logo to incorporate the name of the company together with the field of expertise and after doing an extensive research and collecting inspirational materials, I finally started getting my hands dirty and diving into the world of perfection. The spacing between each anchor point is evenly distributed, which made me very proud of the final result. 💪
Besides, the name of the company is also developed with the same grid and incorpores the elements of the logo to create a coherent look. Would you like to see a separate post on it?

One of my recent project was to create customisable samples of covers📚.
I personally thought it would be easy, but actually creating "generic" book cover required to be quite abstract without derailing too much into details.
