Founded in 2006, Swab Barcelona is an art fair and a platform for exchange dedicated to contemporary art, bringing together each year artists, galleries, audiences, and cultural agents from diverse geographies. With an open and welcoming principles, the project supports the circulation of artworks, experiences, and knowledge, contributing to a more diverse and sustainable cultural ecosystem.
Central to Swab is a commitment to building community and to creating shared value around art. This purpose shapes its role as a meeting point for artistic practices that question the conditions under which art is produced and circulated, as well as the ways in which it generates value for society as a whole.
The fair will celebrate its 19th edition from the 8-11th October at Palacio Victoria Eugenia Pl. de Carles Buïgas, 7, Sants-Montjuïc, Barcelona.
Swab invites to galleries, art spaces, cooperatives and other creative spaces to participate in this new edition.
