For this outfit the top was bundle dyed using madder root, then hand Painted green on top. The pants were first dyed purple using logwood, then modified with iron to become grey.

While weaving I was always SO caught up in avoiding any knots, bumps or uneven edges. Now, looking at them I believe that’s the true beauty of hand woven textiles, those little ‘imperfections’.

These idiosyncrasies are what separates hand weaving from the industrial machine weaves.

All woven from 100% organic cotton yarn and dyed with nature 🌿
