I really enjoyed doing this tattoo; it was a break between busy days at work, and it reminded me of where I started. What used to be difficult now comes naturally.
At the same time, it’s become a habit to accompany people on their first experience with ink on their skin, while others debate whether fineline tattoos fade or not. For me, it’s a style that works very well as a first step into the game and exploration of how skin can serve as a canvas for expression. Seeing them see the result on their skin for the first time is sometimes beautiful, especially when they let themselves be guided by us and our experience instead of wanting exactly what they find on Pinterest.
