We are pleased to welcome .eth to Kontralamakina.

A young talent from Thessaloniki, Greece, Nases has developed a distinct sound built around deep atmospheres and driving techno beats. Despite his relatively short career, he has already established himself within the contemporary techno scene.

This new release consists of 10 new raw techno cuts moving through hypnotic ambiences, high-pitched drones, solid driving kicks and intense build-ups. Raw rhythmic structures and dense atmospheres create an immersive journey, balancing hypnotic tension with a strong dancefloor focus.

On Friday, January 30th, Kontralamakina welcomes live to our next release party for his new EP/LP, “Groof - Simulation (incl. Oscar Mulero remix),” at Barcelona.

Roberto Gemelin (Groof) has been an electronic music producer for over 30 years and is a pioneer of the legendary Madrid scene. His preferred style is Techno, but his restless mind has led him to explore genres such as IDM, Industrial, Experimental, Ambient, and even Italo Disco and Synth Pop, using various pseudonyms depending on the project. He has collaborated with key figures in the Techno scene.

He has released music on labels such as Warm Up, Nheoma, Trauma Collective, SUB_tl, Selected Records, R3volution, etc. Over the last two years, he has been releasing music compulsively, after a fairly long period without releasing any material. He has also created a Bandcamp to give free rein to his more personal musical projects away from the dance floor.

Now he is responsible for KNTRLMKN08, joining our catalog and bringing “Simulation” to life. This EP/LP consists of a collection of five original tracks that explore repetition and dynamism, with structures generated by various noise sources and algorithmic sequencing, resulting in a raw and forceful sound, plus one Oscar Mulero remix.

As a DJ, he has held residencies at parties for the Analogical Force label and at Club Stardust (Red Room). As a producer, he has performed live at venues such as Sonar, Moog, Soma Club, Stardust, Florida 135, and La Real, among many others.

On Friday, January the 30th, Kontralamakina host for next release party “Groof - Simulation (incl. Oscar Mulero remix)” at Barcelona.

Surit is a techno artist with over 15 years of experience and one half of the renowned duo . Active since the early 2000s, he has built a solid reputation for delivering powerful, refined, and impactful performances that seamlessly blend hypnotic atmospheres, raw textures, driving breaks, and powerful basslines.

As NX1, they have previously collaborated with our label on KNTRLMKN06, remixing anan tasca. As a solo artist, Surit has released music on prestigious labels such as MORD, Earwiggle, Black Sun Records, Megastructure, and his own label & among others.

establishing himself as a consistent and versatile presence within the contemporary techno scene. Beyond the DJ booth, Surit continues to develop the NX1 project, and collaborates with various artists, constantly pushing the boundaries of his sound while maintaining a distinctive and unmistakable identity on the dance floor.

joins our lineup is a Berlin based DJ, Founder and mind behind Kontralamakina label and event series, that in its short existence has already reinterpreted many of the conventions of avant-garde electronic music, forging a unique identity in the process.

In these times where the lack of identity continues to be the security of many, Fuerza Kontraria’s DJ sets are governed by an uncompromising and propelling force, thus achieving unique, highly honest and daring sessions, inviting those looking for something beyond just dance floor music with a marked vision of the future, their sound navigates a mixture of techno, industrial, power electronics and post-punk that become evident. But always challenged and reworked to form a unique modern style, achieving sound collages of infinite influences.
