What a week!
Canto Mundial took the stage for two brilliant Silver Screen performances:
at The Comm in Alfaz del Pí on the 29th
and at the Social Centre in Albir on the 30th.
From these performances €400 will be donated to local causes.

There's something that happens when you're in a room with live music. 🎶

You can't quite explain it, and you certainly can't replicate it. It's not just hearing the music, it's feeling it. The moment a chord swells, and you sense it in your chest. The tiny breath a singer takes before a phrase. The way a whole room of strangers suddenly shares the same emotion, all at once, without a word being spoken.

Streaming is wonderful. We all use it. But it gives you the recording of a moment, not the moment itself.

Live music gives you something that no algorithm, no playlist, no pair of headphones ever can. It gives you presence. The knowledge that this performance, these voices, this feeling, it's happening right now, right here, and it will never happen in quite this way again.

Desert island. Sun, sea, sand, and a single piece of music to keep you company forever.

Mine? Beethoven's 7th Symphony. I've heard it more times than I can count, and it STILL sends a shiver down my spine. That slow, unstoppable second movement... then the joy of the finale. Pure, timeless genius. ✨
