Are you on Ibiza next week?
Monday the 22nd of July I will be giving live model drawing classes, outside at the Las Dalias Night Market at the LiberArte by Las Dalias art event. Male model Arnoud will pose this time from 19:30 to 22:30
The free classes ar part of game, a sort of hunt where you can do or see something at every artist and when you have seen and done all stands (card with stamps) you can win a real art piece.
You like Hippy Markets? The market opens at 18:00 and finishes around midnight.

Painting workshop! 👩🏼‍🎨👨🏼‍🎨🎨

On Monday, October 30, Gertjan Holleman will be giving a drawing and painting class for advanced students and beginners. He will explain how to draw a face and a body (proportions) after which the students will draw each other.
Then he will explain how to paint with acrylic paint and everyone starts with 1 painting on paper. There is also the option to paint a cushion.
The advanced students receive different assignments and for the non-Dutch speakers a 1:1 explanation in English or Spanish.

The class is from 12:00 - 16:30 and costs 45, including a delicious lunch with drinks made by Helene from B&B Casa Azul and will be held at this B&B near Catral. Send him a WhatsApp if you are interested and I will send you a pin point.

Taller de pintura 👩🏼‍🎨👨🏼‍🎨🎨

El lunes 30 de octubre Gertjan Holleman impartirá una clase de dibujo y pintura para estudiantes avanzados y principiantes. Explicará cómo dibujar una cara y un cuerpo (proporciones), después de lo cual los estudiantes se dibujarán entre sí.
Luego les explicará cómo pintar con pintura acrílica y todos comienzan con 1 pintura sobre papel. También existe la opción de pintar un cojín.
Los estudiantes avanzados reciben diferentes tareas y, para los que no hablan holandés, una explicación personalizada en inglés o español.

La clase es de 12:00 a 16:30 y cuesta 45, incluye un delicioso almuerzo con bebidas preparado por Helene del B&B Casa Azul y se llevará a cabo en este B&B cerca de Catral. Mándale un whatsapp si estás interesado y te mando un pin point.

Vearte Galeria
Laura (Venezuelan) y Enrique Alonso (Spanish) started this gallery. They are no strangers to the art business, having been gallery owners in South America for 30 years. Laura is also a photographer.

This gallery opened on August 25, with a shop where art books and artistic deco items are sold. But there is also a bar with coffee and sweets and German artisanal beer (Brutus) and wine. I had a coffee with homemade carrot cake.

This is the first gallery in Alicante for them and they are a really cute couple, so I wish them the best of luck!

September 28th a new exhibition!
Artists from all over the world: Europe, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama etc.

Next week Friday the 8th of July from 4PM until 8PM is already the 14th edition of the Hippy Market near Rojales. This time is the theme "Spain" with, apart from the vegan food, smoothies, Dutch bitterballen and Indian spicy food, tapas with Sangria!
Also there will be performances of Flamenco dancer Maria Jose Muñoz. I made this 3:45 minutes promotion video using scenes from her private videos, mixed with scenes from the market in May and June. Hope you like it and if you live in the Vega Baja area, please come and visit!
At the credits I made a big mistake mentioning the next market dates of 2020 🙃... this of course has to be 2022!
