Facilities
Careline Theatre is in the very fortunate position of having its own theatre for both rehearsing and performing in. The facilities available for use by other groups & companies are listed below and a copy of the agreement for use of the theatre is available on this web site. The entrance foyer has an enclosed Box Office, a well stocked bar, run by our efficient and friendly bar staff a
nd toilets. There are places available for two wheelchairs. The stage working area in itself is approximately 40m2 with wing and back stage space as well as a stage/fire door. We have a full set of working flies including black and gold cloths & House Curtain (Tabs). There is a Stage Manager’s Corner where the House Curtain and back stage power, can be operated from. There is also an efficient communication system linking the Stage Manager’s desk with the Sound & Lighting room & flies. In addition there is a fold-back system to the dressing rooms & stage & wings. Under the stage are two large and well-lit dressing room areas with toilets, storage space and access leading up to both sides of the stage. The Sound and Lighting Room is above the rear wall of the auditorium and is well equipped with Lighting &Sound boards, a PA system, CD and Mini Disc player.
