Careline: bringing the magic of theatre to the Costa Blanca Double doors lead into the auditorium which seats 240 people and has two well marked fire exits.

Facilities

Careline Theatre is in the very fortunate position of having its own theatre for both rehearsing and performing in. The facilities available for use by other groups & companies are listed below and a copy of the agreement for use of the theatre is available on this web site. The entrance foyer has an enclosed Box Office, a well stocked bar, run by our efficient and friendly bar staff a

nd toilets. There are places available for two wheelchairs. The stage working area in itself is approximately 40m2 with wing and back stage space as well as a stage/fire door. We have a full set of working flies including black and gold cloths & House Curtain (Tabs). There is a Stage Manager’s Corner where the House Curtain and back stage power, can be operated from. There is also an efficient communication system linking the Stage Manager’s desk with the Sound & Lighting room & flies. In addition there is a fold-back system to the dressing rooms & stage & wings. Under the stage are two large and well-lit dressing room areas with toilets, storage space and access leading up to both sides of the stage. The Sound and Lighting Room is above the rear wall of the auditorium and is well equipped with Lighting &Sound boards, a PA system, CD and Mini Disc player. LOOK WHO’S STILL HERE… 👀🧜‍♀️

Back in January, this little mermaid tail was part of our pantomime; The Little Mermaid.

The lights came down. The costumes went away. The scenery was packed up. The show was over.

But somehow… she stayed.

And here she is, months later. Still inflated. Still colourful. Still beautiful. Sitting on someone’s armchair.

January. Rehearsals. Costumes. Laughter. Chaos. Nerves. And all those little moments backstage that nobody in the audience ever sees.

A show has its final curtain, but the memories don’t end there.

They stay with the people who made them. They become stories we tell, friendships we keep, and moments we remember long after the performance is over.

There’s a place for everyone.

And maybe that’s why this beautiful mermaid tail is still here.

Because some things are made for one show…

Some things stay. ❤️

And apparently… so does our mermaid. 🧜‍♀️

🎭 OK… OK… WE BOOBOOED! 😅

What did you expect?

Six women, full of energy, always saying, “Let’s do it!”

Sometimes we get a little too enthusiastic, convince ourselves we’ve got everything under control… and then life happens!

When we first picked our dates, they actually worked really well. Then, to avoid clashing with another local theatre production, we decided to move the show to July.

But as July has crept closer, we’ve had to admit something…

☀️ Hotter days…
⚽ The World Cup…
🏖️ School holidays…
✈️ Friends and family visiting…
🍹 And everyone being here, there and everywhere!

So, after much discussion (and only a tiny bit of drama 😉), we looked at it honestly and thought…

“Why are we making life difficult for everyone?”

So we’ve decided to move Darlings, You Were Wonderful! to October.

We want to give this wonderful comedy the audience it deserves, and we want you to enjoy it without having to choose between holidays, football, family visits or melting in the summer heat on your way to us… even though we do have lovely air conditioning waiting inside! 😉

If you’ve already booked tickets, our Box Office will be in touch very shortly. You’ll be able to:

EXAMS, EXAMS, EXAMS!
Recently, our young dancers, boys and girls from Careline Theatre Dance and Drama Academy took their latest Grades and Medal Exams. It was an exciting day and everyone behaved beautifully and put their all into doing their best. We wish all our students the very best in their exam results.
