Un banco para sentarse a mirar el nuevo Bellas Artes.

El Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao ha inaugurado Agravitas, la ampliación firmada por Norman Foster y Luis María Uriarte: más de 6.000 m² nuevos, el Atrio Arriaga como gran espacio de encuentro y un recorrido escultórico que recibe al visitante con obras de Chillida, Cristina Iglesias, Richard Serra, Susana Solano… y Pello Irazu.

Entre ellas, el banco de Pello, que ya ha tenido un estreno de lujo: el propio Foster sentado en él.

En el carrusel, Pello junto a nuestro CEO Andoni Trecet en nuestro taller de Eibar durante la fabricación, y distintos momentos del proceso.

Gracias, Pello, por tu confianza y por dejarnos acompañarte en la ejecución de esta pieza. Verla formar parte de un momento así, aquí en casa, es un orgullo para todo el equipo.

A labyrinth hidden inside a block of bronze.

We’re delighted to have fabricated ‘System’ for artist Jules Wittock, and grateful for his trust in our team. The sculpture is made of several interlocking parts that fit together like a puzzle. Underneath, an entrance and an exit reveal the whole piece as a maze, and the path to its solution spells out a word.

Every part had to fit exactly for the puzzle to work, and it was a pleasure to bring that precision to life in bronze.

Breakfast never looked this good. 🐙🥣

Meet “Cereal Cephalopod,” the newest piece by Katherine Taylor — cast in stainless steel at our foundry in Eibar, headed to Skoto Gallery in New York.

True to Taylor’s texture-swapping practice, this octopus wears an unexpected wardrobe: oversized rings for its largest suckers, small rounded loops for the rest, and a shredded, fibrous texture across its body — each one translated from cast impressions into cold, polished steel.

The result: a creature that’s part sea, part cereal bowl, and entirely Taylor’s own.

Our hands shaped a small piece of Getaria’s memory. 🌊

Alongside sculptor Santos Bregaña, Alfa Arte Foundry fabricated the bronze sculptures and lettering for “Oroimena,” a new artistic intervention at Artzape — one of Getaria’s most historic maritime corners.
For generations, local fishermen sharpened their knives against this very wall while waiting to set sail. Bregaña’s piece honors that gesture: four bronze sculptures echo eroded rocks, marine remains and old mooring elements, while limestone pieces still invite visitors to sharpen a blade today.

Engraved lines inspired by Tomás Garbizu’s score for “Getaria” turn the wall into a visible, tactile piece of music, and inscriptions set in the Lamia typeface pay tribute to José Francisco Iturzaeta’s graphic legacy.

As bertsolari Jon Maia writes on the stone itself:
“Harriak mintzo dira gutaz, itsasoak zorroztutako herriaz”
 “The stones speak of us, of a people sharpened by the sea.”

Memory you can touch, read and use — not just look at.

Commissioned by the Ayuntamiento de Getaria and the Basque Government’s Directorate of Ports and Maritime Affairs.

We’re honored to have cast this extraordinary LEDA table in bronze for BD Barcelona, bringing Salvador Dalí’s surrealist imagination to life. Inspired by his 1935 masterpiece “Femme à tête de roses” (Woman with a Head of Roses), this sculptural table transforms Dalí’s fantastical vision into functional art. Our craftsmen employed both gravity-casting in sand molds and lost-wax casting techniques to capture every intimate detail from the grasping hand and knee support to the graceful heeled foot cradling the brushed bronze top. Watch as the exquisite black patina develops, unveiling the raw beauty of hand-finished bronze and varnished surfaces. Crowned with a Carrara marble egg, this is limited edition luxury at its finest a physical and raw experience of Dalí’s brilliant mind.
