July's prompt is: PHOTO.

Three hours ago, I had no idea how I was going to tackle this prompt.
Even though I love working with photos, this tag felt different.
I started by picking a packet of Tim Holtz ephemera and layering a few pieces together... but the film negative is what brought everything to life. It added the magic I was looking for. 📷✨

My first idea was to use an old notebook page.
Instead, I stitched the lines.
The fabric became the paper, the thread became the ruling, and the tag slowly turned into a little botanical reference sheet filled with samples, notes, and observations.
The loose threads stayed exactly where they were. They felt like part of the story.

I wanted to play a little with tea bags and keep things beautifully simple.Just a couple of stitches, a few soft texture...

This month’s fluff prompt felt a little more personal 🤍
Since it happens to be my 48th birthday month, I wanted this tag to feel like a quiet little celebration.
I used a sweet image of a girl celebrating with her cat from wrapping paper Maha sent me, added a handmade “48” plate, then layered different laces and soft textures to bring the feeling of fluff into the piece.
Soft, playful, a little nostalgic…
and happily 48 ✨

April's prompt is: MARKS.

I didn’t plan this piece for marks…
but sometimes, the work finds its own direction.
What started as soft florals slowly turned into layers of marks, stitches, textures, tiny white traces…
each one leaving its own quiet presence.
The flowers are still there, but the marks gave them depth… and somewhere to settle.

I used ephemera from Barbara’s designs. Thank you sweetheart for the gorgeous gift 💕

This piece started back in February for the Bold prompt,
when it was still a cloth tag that said Marvel.
Then I noticed MAR… and knew it had to wait for March.
I cut it, aged it, layered it over red floral patterned paper, added some hand stitching and a touch of dimension with small flowers.
It carries a vintage feel,
yet somehow fits this season perfectly
soft, warm, and full of love 🤍
