After many years of the personal experience that the co-founders of 540 EGYPT got in the field of literally and publishing, they have found that there are existing needs, that they can see them as opportunities and work on them, these needs are like:

- An abundance of potential writers, and very few agencies catering for them.
- The challenges and the hectic process of publishing a book, plus th

e royalties’ collection struggles.
- The high turnover rates of young and upcoming writers, due to weak management, exposure, and marketing for the published books.
- Lack of decent management systems that lead to many writers’ demoralization.
- Lack of adept and holistic management systems for cultural events. That is why they started 540EGYPT with the mission of Leading the Arab literature to a new era of flourishing through:
- Discover new and potential writers and empower them with the needed tools.
- Increase the global exposure of the Arabic literature through translation and reproduction of novels in other forms like movies and TV series.
- Offer Writers management services that include:
I. Social media management
- Introduce a new methodology in managing cultural events

540Egypt’s Vision is to be a social enterprise taking the lead of enriching the cultural and literature scene in Egypt and the MENA region.
