Three years in a row. I still can’t quite believe it. So honored to share that I am a Brooklyn Arts Council / BAF Grant recipient for the third consecutive year: first for The Garden (2024), then Murmurations (2025), and now Birds of Brooklyn (2026). Each grant has felt like a kind of vote of confidence, as the work, in this city as home.

Brooklyn has given me so much. Being part of BAC & Brooklyn community, year after year, means everything to me as a choreographer and as a human being.

We are deep in making something unusual and beautiful for Fall 2026.

A friend of mine after the show described it as Cassette Punk.And that’s exactly how it is.

Thank you so much for allowing us the space to experiment and literally push the boundaries of dance. We are truly grateful.The show on Saturday was fire,and place was packed. Thank you also Sarah for leading lights, and Lily for helping out with all logistics.
