I ‘m honored to be selected for this remarkable art project and to represent “Egypt” in celebrating the world biggest sporting event in 2026 in Toronto, presented by in partnership with art. By painting a beaver statue, which is considered an iconic symbol of Canada, in a full ancient Egyptian costume with colorful jewelry and hieroglyphic language. This costume includes traditional historic elements such as the ‘Schenti’ (kilt) and the ‘Usekh’ (broad collar), along with a majestic headpiece and wrist jewelry.
The design draws inspiration from ancient antiquities, including sculptures, artifacts, kings’ clothes, tombs, murals, and mummies’ decorative cases. The color palette of the design incorporates dominant symbols in ancient Egyptian civilization that reflect power, authority, spirituality, and renewal mythology. These symbols were the primary tools used to convey their beliefs in the past.
All is freehand painted using acrylic paint and varnish coat at the end.
