I just finished watching the finale of and I couldn’t step away from my screen without translating Tarek’s expression into graphite strokes.

When a performance holds that much emotional weight, the only thing left to do is create.

Every heavy line and cross-hatch in this portrait was moving to the rhythm of the show.

For everyone else who is still completely speechless after the show... how are you holding up? And do you think that she loved him!!!
For me I don’t think that she loved him.!

From misting the fibers to personally preparing the grain, these quiet, intentional moments establish a profound connection with the upcoming work.

The painting doesn’t begin with the brush; it begins with the intent poured into the preparation.
