We are pleased to introduce our following artist in residence.
Shih Che Su a ceramic artist from Taiwan:
I met people of different ages in different studios. Everyone developed their insights of pottery from his or her life stage and mind.
Making pottery requires immersing myself and slowly accumulating experience. In addition, I am also fascinated by the bonfire culture in Estonia, a place full of mushrooms and forests to deepen my connection with nature.
As for the direction of my future creations, I would like to develop more elements in fire, stone, wind, wood, mountains or water, in terms of glaze, shape or touch.

We are pleased to introduce our following artist in residence.
Pia Engström Agesen is a Danish Artist. She is educated at the Academy of Fine Arts, Aarhus, Denmark. She is working with aesthetics in line with 'Wabi-Sabi', a Japanese concept of the art of impermanence that refers to an awareness of the transient nature of earthly things and a corresponding pleasure in things that bear the mark of this impermanence. Pia uses this traditional concept as her guidance with a Scandinavian touch, which reflects authenticity, imperfection and simplicity.

We are pleased to introduce our following artist in residence Keenan Vaughn Julies.

I am a South African Potter based out of Copenhagen. The Danish design tradition forms a portal between my African heritage and my American education. I am seduced by the silhouette of vessels and see pottery as holders of emotion(s). This is my third trip to Estonia, as I am continually inspired by the purity of its picturesque landscapes and its magical wood kilns."
