“Kõlarada” / 'Hörselgång' is a relay sound walk exploring alternative modes of being together through the act of listening. Performance experiments with the friction between presence and absence, present and past, proximity and distance, combining generative binaural audio synthesis with enhanced listening to the actual acoustic surroundings.

Walls Have Ears / Introducing the Performing Artists of 2025 / Aivar Tõnso (EE)

Aivar Tõnso is a musician, sound artist, and curator of interdisciplinary cultural events. Having long ventured in the fringes of club music and field of experimental electronic music, in recent years he has focused on sound art, creating sound installations for site-specific environments and galleries. In one way or another, space and its creation through sound plays a crucial role in his work. One of the key aspects of his practice is expanding the imagination with the help of unique character of the sounds. He often enriches sound by using a Non-Speaker System built from various physical materials, a custom solution of which can also be experienced during his performance at the Walls Have Ears festival.
