Rakvere Tantsuteater on projektipõhine professionaalset tantsukunsti etendav teater, mis asutati 2019 juba toimuvate Sügiseste balletiõhtute korraldamise lihtsustamiseks. Ideede lennust sai alguse soov luua Rakvere linna oma kodukohaks lugev professionaalne tantsuteater, mille eesmärgiks on kohalikul ja ka üleriigilisel tasandil panustada teatri, tantsu ja kultuuri arengusse. Läbi uue tantsuteatri
on võimalus ka noortel koreograafidel ning tantsijatel teostada oma loomingut. Rakvere Tantsuteatri esimene lavastus esietendus 2.nov 2020 ning selleks on „Hetkede album“, mille lavastas noor koreograaf Nastya Kaymash Venemaalt. Rakvere Dance Theater is a project based professional dance theater which was formed in 2019 to manage already existing Autumn Ballet Evening. Various ideas formed the wish to create a professional dance theater which counts Rakvere town as it´s home. Our wish is to develop dance, theater and culture on a local and national level. Through a new dance theater we hope to give young dancers and choreographers a chance to bring their creative work to life. Our first production under the theater´s name premied on 2nd of November 2020 - "Album of Moments" by young choreographer Nastya Kaymash from Russia
