Working on an autumn color study from shots around Osoyoos. Prepped the paper canvas with gesso first and seems to have helped for applying oil paints. Working on the second one. Will let these dry then can add more detail. Who knows one of tgese might become a painting.

First block-in done on a pond, my sister's husband made in their back yard. It has grown up so pretty back there and these trees like growning by a well watered stream that flows into this pond at the bottom of the little hill in their backyard.

The Painting Corner Studio has a new look. We have been traveling in our motor home across Canada for 5 weeks now and this is our first long stop we are making so am able to bring out my paints to finish this iconic spot called Agnes Lake at Lake Louise, AB.

Check it out! Finally getting back to my easel today and making progress on this one! What a beautiful place to hike up to the Agnes Teahouse in Banff. If we get an opportunity to head over that way, it definitely will be on my bucket list!
