La Orquesta Filarmónica Municipal de Guayaquil -OFMG- órgano cultural y musical del Municipio de Guayaquil fue creada por el ex alcalde Ab. Jaime Nebot como la primera Orquesta Filarmónica Municipal de la ciudad, tocando su primer concierto el 17 de julio de 2017. o la dirección artística del Maestro David Harutyunyan, se enorgullecen en difundir el arte musical sinfónico para todos los guayaquileños, ecuatorianos y visitantes de nuestra querida ciudad, siembre buscando la excelencia musical basados en la dedicación, compromiso y responsabilidad por lo que fue creada. A lo largo de estos años, la Orquesta Filarmónica ha cumplido una ambiciosa agenda de conciertos presentándose en diferentes espacios públicos, con artistas invitados y solistas de talla internacional, teniendo al Teatro Centro de Arte como su sede permanente. Todos sus conciertos son gratuitos y abiertos al público; con el apoyo de todos los guayaquileños la Orquesta Filarmónica Municipal de Guayaquil se convertirá, sin duda, en el primer referente de la música sinfónica Latinoamericana.

The Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra of Guayaquil -OFMG- cultural and musical element of the Municipality of Guayaquil was created by former mayor Jaime Nebot as the first Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra of the city, playing its first concert on July 17th, 2017. Its establishment was published in the Official Municipal Gazette No. 66 of August 9th, 2017. Today we have 55 talented musicians, who under the artistic direction of Master David Harutyunyan, are proud to spread the symphonic musical art for all Guayaquileans, Ecuadorians and visitors to our beloved city, always seeking musical excellence based on dedication, commitment and responsibility for what it was created. Throughout these years, the Philharmonic Orchestra has fulfilled an ambitious concert schedule, performing in different public spaces, with guest artists and soloists of international importance, having the Centro de Arte Theater as its permanent headquarters. All its concerts are free and open to the public; and with the support of all Guayaquil residents, the Guayaquil Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra will undoubtedly become the first benchmark for Latin American symphonic music.
