Anne came to me with a really cool idea inspired by her travels in Japan: a swallowtail butterfly she photographed, and its connection to Himeji Castle and the Ikeda clan crest.

We paired it with a filigree-like leaf ornament that appears alongside the butterfly crest, bringing the references together in a composition of its own.

It was really fun to create a piece inspired by Anne’s ideas, her time in Japan, and the details that caught her eye along the way. Thank you for trusting me with it, Anne 🙌🏼

Just got back from my guest spot at Art Vision Tattoo Art Visions Tattoo Berlin in Berlin ✍️

It was such a good visit, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The tattoo in this carousel was done in Denmark before the trip but finished in Berlin. Healed picture will follow 👀

I’ll be back in Berlin again, so if you’re based in Germany and Copenhagen feels like a bit of a trek… this might be your chance 😏

Thomas went all in for his first tattoo.

Organic forms, mechanical elements and abstract shapes, an unusual mix, but one that works so well together. This was a lot of fun to create!

Getting started on 𝙏𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙫ø𝙧 𝙞 𝙊𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 | 𝙛𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙖𝙥 𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙤𝙤 | 𝙨𝙪𝙣𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙟𝙣𝙚𝙧 ‘s full colour turtle backpiece, a samurai and dragon battle extending all the way down to the knees.

Always good working on a big project with a fellow tattooer. Looking forward to seeing this one come together.
