Igor Moritz | The Light the Dead See

Brigade is pleased to invite you to the opening of The Light the Dead See, a solo exhibition by Igor Moritz, marking the artist’s Scandinavian solo debut.
The Light the Dead See will present eight new oil paintings in Moritz’s distinctive style: intimate portraits of figures from his milieu, rendered in a deep color palette. A second central motif is flowers; from bright yellow daffodils blooming in interior settings to sunflowers, long rooted in Polish folklore, with their spiky petals evoking echoes of Van Gogh. Together, this new body of work continues Moritz’s exploration of humanity, depicting man in relation to himself, to others, and to the world.
We hope to see you at the opening on Vesterbrogade 75, where the artist will be present.
