SCULPTURE OF THE TERRAIN vol. I, RETURNS, 2021

Closure. Volcanic granite rocks from Scandinavia, transported through the Baltic Sea to Pomerania during several glaciations thousands years ago, were, in 2021, duly returned, back through the land and sea, to their original outcrops.
[...] When a sculpture borrows its materiality, its components, like atoms, converge into structures and then part ways, returned to their habitat, dispersed, free. The "exhibition" is just a blink, a stage in the continuum.
The sculpture effectively sinks into its original environment, and is irretrievable.

Domknięcie. Wulkaniczne granity Skandynawii, przetransportowane poprzez Morze Bałtyckie na Pomorze podczas następujących po sobie zlodowaceń - wróciły do swoich wychodni.

[...] Kiedy rzeźba zapożycza swoją materialność, jej elementy jak atomy, na chwilę zbijają się w struktury, aby potem znów się rozpierzchnąć, swobodnie powrócić do swoich trajektorii, uwolnione. Wtedy dzieło / wystawa są jedynie chwilowym stanem skupienia, fazą nieskończonego ruchu.
Rzeźba finalnie wtapia się w swoje środowisko, jest nie do odzyskania.

L-LAPIDARIUM
Sculpture of the Terrain series, 2021
L-Lapidarium is an annotation to the Hollugaard Skulpturpark’s Lapidarium. Reclaimed stela mark one of the many life-stages of the indigenous Scandinavian granite. Lava-originated matter, subject to geologic, orogenic processes, then quarried, turned into the ultimate memory bearer, a stele (tombstone), then de-classed, removed, caught on the way to be crushed for road gravel. Marked with Sculpture of the Terrain’s emblem : “PASSERANDE” “I am passing through”.

L-Lapidarium to przypis do Lapidarium w Hollugaard Skulpturpark.
Odzyskane stele oznaczają jeden z wielu etapów egzystencji rdzennego, skandynawskiego granitu. Stworzona z lawy materia, poddana procesom geologicznym, orogenicznym, następnie wydobyta, przetworzona w najstarszy nośnik pamięci, stelę (nagrobek), następnie od-klasyfikowana, wywieziona, przechwycona w drodze do stania się kruszywem drogowym. Oznaczone godłem Rzeźby Terenu: „PASSERANDE” („przechodzę, jestem w ruchu”).
