What if the future of furniture isn’t handcrafted nostalgia, but intelligent production?
From 10–12 June, in occasion of MACA Museum presents the work of , a designer redefining how contemporary furniture is conceived and made.
Operating as a self described one man furniture factory, Rottier combines digital design, CNC fabrication, and a highly local production network to create furniture that is precise, adaptable, and built with minimal waste. His work challenges traditional ideas of craftsmanship and explores how technology can create more sustainable ways of producing for the way we live today.
On view will be pieces from the AR15 and other series, modular collections designed to evolve with changing spaces and needs. Made from recyclable aluminum and engineered for longevity, the works embody a vision of design that is flexible, repairable, and rooted in the realities of contemporary living.
Rather than looking back, Rottier’s practice looks forward, proving that innovation, efficiency, and sustainability can coexist without compromise.
