ABSTRAKT MALERI I AKRYL OG AKVAREL PERNILLE WERNER

Idea
I work primarily with acrylic painting on canvas, and I prefer to work with the larger dimensions.

I create abstract paintings in both dark and light color – the colors of life in all it’s aspects. I am deeply inspired by the magnificent nature surrounding on the island of Bornholm, and I use the landscapes, atmosphere and light as a starting point in almost all my work. Occasionally I’m inspired by a mood or a feeling. Painting is communicating - it’s a dialogue between the creator and the vie

wer. As an introvert, I enjoy this dialogue and the freedom of being able to paint intuitively and expressively. That's my style - my characteristic. It is individual how any artwork is perceived and interpreted. It’s a non-static, dynamic reflection, always changing, always showing new perspectives to the viewer. This is the advantage of nonfigurative painting. In order for the work to succeed in its communication, it requires an open mind, imagination and time. I like to give all my artwork a title, but as broadly as possible so that the viewers are free to have their own interpretation. SoMe
I post photos of all my paintings on SoMe, unless otherwise agreed. I love it when you send me pictures of my paintings in your new surroundings. Commissioned work
If interested in a commissioned work, please contact me and we’ll agree on an approximate price. You do not commit to buying a commissioned work – we both have to be satisfied with the result. The commissioned work requires more preparation and therefore the price is often to be expected higher. Please contact me to get a price estimate list for the commissioned work. “This used to be a really nice painting” blev til kort før åbningen af Obliq og markerer et vigtigt vendepunkt i min kunstneriske udvikling. Værket opstod intuitivt ved siden af et andet maleri, som aldrig fandt sin form, og blev et udtryk for frihed, handlekraft og en mere kompromisløs tilgang til maleriet.

“This used to be a really nice painting” was created shortly before the opening of Obliq and marks an important turning point in my artistic development. The work emerged intuitively alongside another painting that never found its form, becoming an expression of freedom, decisiveness, and a more uncompromising approach to painting.

“Det ulmer” fra 2021 er endelig rejst videre. Et værk skabt i sensommerens lys og skygger – og midt i en livsperiode, der satte sine spor. Jeg er taknemmelig for, at det nu får lov til at leve videre et nyt sted. Tak.
