Summer is officially over on Bornholm, and things are slowly starting to wind down.

It’s been an absolutely amazing summer. 🫶
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the shop in Nexø over the past few months! ☀️

We’re tired, overwhelmed and very, very happy. 🤍

And it also means that the Oh Oak webshop is officially open again after a long summer break!

Some of you have already discovered this (THANK YOU for all the orders 🫶) — they’re packed up and on their way to you.

We’re working on gradually filling the webshop back up with new work, but please bear with us. Ceramics take time! 🤍

To all my international friends and followers:
For now, I’ve had to close shipping to the EU due to the new packaging regulations. I’m working on finding solutions, but it takes quite a bit of time and effort to figure out the procedures and requirements for each individual country.

I’ll keep you posted, and hopefully I’ll be able to reopen shipping to some countries again soon.

I honestly can’t believe this is the situation we’re dealing with in 2026. 🫠

Thank you for your patience and for supporting my little ceramic world. 🤍

Stacks of Granite 🪨

The Granite Glaze has been a signature glaze in the Nexø Series since 2016, when I first started making ceramic tableware professionally. Actually, together with the Baltic Blue glaze, it was the very first glaze I developed for Oh Oak, and today it is still one of the most popular glazes in my collection.

I just stocked up on Granite in the shop at and also added a few cups to the webshop, so go check it out. The webshop closes for the summer on Tuesday June 30th.

Summer is just around the corner, and in my little business that means the webshop will soon be taking a well-deserved summer break, while the busy season arrives on Bornholm and in my physical store in Nexø.

In exactly one week, on June 30th, the webshop will close for a couple of months and reopen in September. So if there’s something you’ve had your eye on and you won’t be making it to Bornholm this summer, now is the time to grab it. Of course, you can still reach me by email throughout the summer.

I hope you all have a wonderful summer! Maybe I’ll see some of you in Nexø over the next few months? ☀️🙏

Love,
Sarah
