Disco Pirate

Rutevejledning

Disco Pirate Disco Pirate is a British, Copenhagen-based DJ spinning disco-fuelled house anthems, tech house & club classics. It is perfect for mobile medium powered PA.

Known for high-energy sets, quirky pop-up parties & a mobile sound system, he brings hands-in-the-air vibes to clubs, festivals & city streets Bliss Festival Bike is a self designed and built PA on wheels. Parades, protest marches, street parties, pop up events, eco conscious events. The build was concentrated around efficiency. I have used the most efficient equipment and designs possible in order to make it as loud as possible for the least power consumption and weight. It is Solar powered. There is a very high efficiency (22-24%) 100W solar panel built onto the subwoofers, capable of keeping it running continuously at 3/4 volume. (loud enough for a small street gathering)
Full volume uses an average of 120-180 Watts. LifePo4 batteries. It has 80Ah, top of the range lithium batteries capable of running the at full volume for 6-8 hours at night. Unlike traditional lead acid batteries (40-50%), nearly all of the stored energy in lithium batteries is useful (90%) and it is much much lighter. Sound system:

The speaker boxes were designed and built by me. The subs are tapped horn boxes, widely recognised as being the most efficient bass cabinet design. A digital sound processor is used to split the audio into bass mid and treble before amplification meaning that no energy is wasted by amplifying frequencies that cannot be produced by each speaker. PA Setup:
2x Thom12 Subwoofers. (50-200Hz 102db/W)
2x TRN10" full range speakers. (50-20,000Hz)
1x Pioneer GM-D8604 amplifier (12v high efficiency Class-D amplifier)

Lights:
180 degree LED screen surrounding the subwoofers
2x moving head spotlights.
