Does anyone want to try their luck with miniature painting?
We are also doing acrylic and watercolour lessons if that's more your thing. All levels welcome.

Vi har længe her på galleriet, talt om at det kunne være spændende med nogle kurser. Lokalerne er perfekte til at huse en lille gruppe kursister

Kunne du tænke dig at prøve at male miniaturer med oliemaling sammen m Billie Bailey.?

Eller fordybe dig i meditativ akvarel med Shaanea Mendis?

Eller måske lave malerier i akryl med Marie Morgan.?

Kurserne er både for øvede og uøvede.

Så tilmeld dig vores intro eftermiddag søndag d 19 April kl. 15.00. Alle tre kunstnere vil være tilstede, der er vin & eftermiddags snacks. Det koster 200,- Dkk at tilmelde sig - vi har plads til max 30 personer så det bliver efter først til mølle princippet....

Not an easter egg but a pocket eye. It's not the same but it is what it is.
"Pocket eye" oil paint on wood framed in an old pocket watch. Will vanish when it's completely dry.

The other day my friends daughter interviewed me for a school project and I was all excited and thought it was cool that she wanted to interview me..

Her: when were you born?
Me: oh no.. really?
Her: oh you can't answer this one.. You're still alive.. (I am sure she didn't sound disappointed)
Me: yes I am (yay!?)
Her: when did you have your big break though?
Me: oh no.. really?

It went well. I think. 😅

I painted a portrait of a coffee pot and then I painted a portrait on the coffee pot.
Now I need coffee.

Now and then i just need to paint a skull.
The fascination of knowing we all have one inside our heads but will never get to see our own..
And It's good practice.. I wanted the colours to match the frame.. played with the idea that the skull was made of gold but I ended up liking it like this.
It's 30 X 35 cm including the frame.

"Sleepyhead" 10,2cm from top to bottom.
Oil paint on wood in a frame made out of something from an old electrical dingenot. (Dingenot = word for something I don't know the proper word for)
This one needs one more layer of paint and some varnish but wanted to share.

Heading into the last week of the exhibition "Stof til eftertanke"
So much fun to see what came out of mixing oil paint on wood with wool and leather. I am still a bit surprised looking at them and thinking "I made them. This is what I do" But hey.. that's art for ya 🤷😅
