She made women’s voices harder to ignore.
This post is dedicated to Gloria Steinem (1934–2026), who passed away on September 2.
A journalist, writer and activist, Steinem became one of the defining voices of second-wave feminism in the United States and spent decades challenging who gets heard, who gets represented and who gets to shape the world around them.
Her work was built on something we hold close at The Soulfuls: the power of women sharing what they know, listening to one another and making space for the voices coming next✨
A reminder that the women ahead of us don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes, what matters is that they share their experience, open doors and make it possible for another woman to find her own way forward.
In memory of Gloria Steinem🤍
