Look Above The Stage 👀

For Les Misérables – The Arena Spectacular, the rig above the stage is doing a lot more than just flying equipment. ⚙️

MSA supplied the full rigging, control and automation package behind a touring system designed for arena scale:
– a 9-ton mothergrid
– 28 Apex 500 kg hoists
– 10 moving scenic lighting trusses
– a large central bridge flown on 8 hoists
– and tracking IMAG screens to help preserve sightlines

A setup built not only for movement, but for repeatability, reliability and touring efficiency.

This summer, we’re supporting Suspekt Festival Tour with Stage Automation built for fast deployment, precision and reliability. ✔️

Behind the scenes, dynamic stage elements – including automated LED cubes and crane-supported movements become an integrated part of the show, executing repeatable motion cues across changing festival venues.

Every venue is different. The performance shouldn’t be. 💥

Another great collaboration, and another summer spent bringing motion to live productions. 🦾

Bringing advanced Stage Automation to The Minds of 99 Festival Tour 🎙️⚙️

Limited build windows. Tight changeovers. Multi departments working simultaneously. 🕓

Each festival site brings different stage dimensions, rigging conditions and production constraints.

For Nibe Festival we created a modular automation setup with HOF MLT4 Pre-Rig Truss, MOVEKET Chain Hoists, EXE Flexa Load Cells and M:CAT elements moving independently, executing synchronized lifts, parallel movements and individual cues ⚙️

It’s a level of Stage Automation that is rarely seen in a festival environment. 👀
