The other day (26/02/2026) we at Aarhus Dramaturgy (Aarhus University) had the great pleasure of having a visit from 4 actors from the old Odin Teatret. The event was a performance lecture, "On the way with Odin Teatret 1966-2022". The actors Roberta Carreri, Iben Nagel Rasmussen, Kai Erik Bredholt and Donald Kitt told about their long journey through a changing theatre landscape. From a converted cowshed in Holstebro to the polished floors of Venice and Paris. From intimate performances to street parades and bartering through words, songs, music and dance, they each told a part of their historical journey. The visit was a semester event during the teaching in KaserneScenen's Great Hall, where we also had the opportunity to have a good dialogue between the actors and the inquisitive students. A semester event gives us academic unity across the study.

Ships that Pass in the Night has slipped into dock with our lifeline. 3 weeks of a process in search of hidden meanings, unravelling the journey. We anchored briefly with students from Ringkøbing Gymnasium swabbing the decks with them in three sails to the wind. “Memory is performative” Jay Winter.
EARN TO WIN It is a procedure of creating documentary and autobiographical theatre that aims to collect experiences from reality to transfer them to the scene. For this, both artistic, social and ethical considerations were taken into account.
From biographical interviews, we will rescue particular experiences that highlight the mental health issues that have been present in the lives of these two actors and the strategies they have created to address this difficulty which will lead us to reflect on how this issue is addressed by society, the world of health and public policy.
