🫶🫶MEET TEAM MEXICO🫶🫶

Gina González Solorzano, Carlos Miguel Ramirez Pereyra and Gleb Dusavitskiy form the Mexican team at HAY ART HØJER. All three are professional artists with extensive experience in public art and large-scale sculpture.

Gina and Carlos are married, while Carlos and Gleb are longtime friends who met through international snow sculpture symposia. HAY ART will be the first time the three join forces as one team, representing Carlos’ home country, Mexico.

For Carlos and Gina, HAY ART will be their first visit to Denmark. Gleb, however, already knows Højer well, having taken part in the ART JAM wood sculpture symposium several times.

Together they will create “Hive of Harmony” – an immersive hay sculpture inviting visitors to step inside and rediscover imagination, playfulness and wonder.

The Mexican team consists of three artists, as they will also lead HAY ART Kids, creating hay sculptures together with local schoolchildren.

Guys! We’re organizing our very first ever Hay Sculpture Symposium in Denmark!!

3 INTERNATIONAL ARTIST TEAMS - 3 HUGE HAY SCULPTURES - 1 WEEK IN HØJER!!

Artists from Mexico/ Russia, France and Macedonia/Czech Republic will meet in Højer to create 3 large-scale sculptures from hay.

For one week, the work will happen in public. Come by, watch the sculptures take shape, meet the artists and experience how hay becomes art through the hands of skilled, international artists!

HØJER – Hvis man troede, at den kunstneriske puls i Højer ville falde efter ArtJam, kan man godt tro om igen. Foreningen bag de velkendte træskulpturer skifter i september de hårde kævler ud med et langt blødere, men mindst lige så udfordrende materiale. Under navnet HAY ART Højer inviteres der til et internationalt høskulptursymposium, hvor tre kunstnerhold vil transformere festpladsen ved Østerende 10 til et åbent værksted.

ART JAM 2026 - closing 🫶
After an incredible creation week, filled with many hours of work, many new friendships across country boarders and memorable experiences we can proudly say; The 34th International ART JAM Wood Sculpture Symposium is officially closed - and what a journey!! Talented artists from all over the world made their way all the way to Højer, where they transformed raw oak trunks into incredible artworks during one week of open creation, for the public to follow. At the closing we celebrated the artists and their huge achievements 🫶
A huge thank you to all visitors, volunteers and sponsors for making this event possible. A huge thank you to all our amazing artists for making this week so special and memorable! We are thankful and proud to call you all a part of our ART JAM FAMILY!!!

ART JAM 2026 - DAY 6☀️
Closing Saturday, 6th of June!
8 raw oak trunks have transformed into incredible sculptures, through the hands of our 8 international artists - during only one week!
Creation process has been open from the first raw cut, till the last fine touches.
Today we celebrate the artists and their achievements, see the finished artworks, meet the artists and come celebrate with us!
12.00 - the finished artworks are exhibited
14.00 - official closing with speeches and introduction of artists and sculptures 🫶
All artworks are for sale - some are already bought by happy, new owners 🥰
Meet us all at the Jam! We can’t wait to see you!
