New cherry tree sculpture! The mushroom at the top is very special to me. It was the first mushroom I ever brought home, because if it's unique extraordinary beauty. Since that one mushroom I have made hundreds of mushroom lamps and made my art project Quercus Design, as a way to convey the importance of nature connection and symbiotic relationships.

A little Quercus Design Installation in our yoga room. I found a cranium in the forrest recently that adds that final peace of the circle of life!
This sculpture is one of the smaller ones that I have made.

We evolved to be in nature. Quercus design is about inviting nature inside to imitate our natural habitat in our home. 🏠
In this way we can live a life closer to nature and get our biological needs met.

Connecting home and habitat - lecture
What an honor to share my project and vision with an audience who took the time to listen and understand the idea behind! I believe we need, now more than ever, to remind each other to direct our attention to the natural world to not get imprisoned in the digital. There is a deep joy and fulfillment when one feels connected to the landscape and interact with other lifeforms in mutually beneficial relationships. It is something words can't explain, that you have to feel in your own body, when you engage your biology.

Remembering our connection to nature and other lifeforms around us is essential to preserve our humanity in a world of rapid technological development and AI. We need to decide now, if we wanna remain human or if we wanna become hybrids only part human. I believe we make a huge mistake if we depart from nature now. One that is very difficult to reverse.

Look around you! All other living organisms depend on symbiotic relationships with other species to thrive! We are no different. So invite as many different lifeforms inside your home as possible and create a whole community of life around you! You were never meant to live ALONE!
