Sunday evening with crystal bowls, strings and drifting electronics inside the breathtaking acoustics of Brønshøj Vandtårn.

Japanese crystal bowl player and recording engineer Monk Beat joins forces with Halvcirkel - a Copenhagen-based ensemble moving between experimental strings, improvisation and contemporary composition - for a one-off collaborative set shaped by deep vibrations and immersive sound. Alongside this, composer and violist Pauline Hogstrand presents a solo performance moving through electroacoustic textures, intimate noise and microtonal structures.

A slow-moving evening of resonance, fragile detail and deep listening.

Halvcirkel encountered Monk Beat, a crystal bowl player and recording engineer working from a 200-year-old temple studio.
Using wave-based sound techniques, his tones resonate physically in the body as much as in the room.
Halvcirkel’s strings meet these deep vibrations in a one-off collaborative set.
