A culinary and musical powerhouse has emerged in the heart of downtown Copenhagen, uniting Denmark’s gastronomic elite with jazz royalty. Named after the ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus, this collaboration promises an extraordinary fusion of culinary artistry, mixology mastery, interior design, and jazz virtuosity. Epicurus championed the pursuit of happiness through pleasure—defined as the absence of pain and fear—while emphasizing meaningful friendships, philosophical reflection, and the enriching role of food and culture in a fulfilling life. Guests will experience a multisensory journey that embodies the Epicurean ideals of refined pleasure and cultural enrichment, where exquisite food, innovative cocktails, and world-class jazz converge to create an unparalleled environment for connection, inspiration, and joy. An extraordinary meeting of three major voices in jazz.

Niels Lan Doky and Chris Minh Doky reunite under the Doky Brothers name for a rare live run at Epicurus - joined by Grammy-winning drummer Paul Wertico, best known for his legendary work with the Pat Metheny Group.

Together, they revisit the music that made the Doky Brothers albums among the most celebrated Danish jazz releases of the 1990s. Lyrical piano, melodic bass, and decades of musical chemistry come together in an intimate live setting.
