Let's wrap up the highlights from the Presidents Summit 2024 in Copenhagen, where our top management team is currently attending.

This morning, the conference kicked off with an inspiring session by Thomas Erikson, the world-renowned leadership expert and author of the bestselling series “Surrounded by Idiots.” For over two decades, he has advised leaders at global companies like IKEA, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and Volvo.

Among the many insightful sessions and incredible speakers, we had the pleasure of hearing Prof. Steven Rogelberg discuss improving meeting effectiveness. As an expert on workplace dynamics and recipient of the prestigious Humboldt Award, his talk on fixing meetings was truly eye-opening.

Dr. Frederik Pferdt, Google’s first Chief Innovation Evangelist and Stanford Adjunct Professor, shared groundbreaking insights from his book "What's Next Is Now." Additionally, we participated in an amazing workshop by Prof. Sonja Lyubomirsky, a leading researcher in the field of happiness and bestselling author of "The How of Happiness."

Fox in a Box Team-Building roadtrip adventure in Athens 🦊

Hey everyone, we just had the most epic team building roadtrip to Athens! It was a fantastic journey of bonding and playing together. We decided to put our teamwork skills to the test by exploring the BEST escape rooms Athens has to offer, as recognized by TERPECA - Top Escape Rooms Project Enthusiasts’ Choice Award. 🏆

First, we took on the ultimate challenge - The Longest Escape Experience at Paradox Project. This mind-bending adventure left us speechless, pushing our problem-solving abilities to the max!

The bravest among us faced their fears head-on by tackling the Chapel & Catacombs game at Lockhill Escape Room, which proudly holds the 1st place on TERPECA. 🥇

We also stepped into the eerie world of Exorcista and Death Row at No Exit Escape Rooms - Ηλιούπολης company, and we need to admit that the adrenaline rush was through the roof and the atmosphere was more then spine-tingling, but we made it out as heroes!

What an amazing few days at our Fox in a Box franchise conference in Belgrade! 🧡 We gained lots of great insights through diverse lectures and shared ideas and experiences about the business in each market through round table sessions.

Being a franchise has many advantages, since we all share the same challenges and can always rely on the help of the other owners. 🤝🌎

On top of that, networking in the escape room industry always includes playing some games together, so this was a great opportunity to play City Hunt, our brand new urban escape game! We got to explore the beautiful Kalemegdan park and fortress in the heart of Belgrade, while solving puzzles that gave us insight into the history of this amazing monument. 🤸‍♀️

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the conference, we can’t wait to meet up again with our Fox in a Box family! 🙌

We’ve kicked-off the second day of our Fox in a Box Escape Room Franchise Conference!

We have a special guest speaker today, Branko Lazarević, who will be sharing insights into the intricacies of franchising and franchise relations.

Branko is a Managing Partner and Franchise Consultant at Franchise Architect, who has 30 years of experience in franchising at Swedish McDonalds. As a member of McDonald’s management team as Director of Operations & Franchising and before that Senior Franchising & Relations Manager, Branko has a unique experience of franchising in one of the most successful franchise chains in the world.

We’re excited to announce the kick-off of the Fox in a Box Escape Room Franchise conference! After so much time not seeing each other because of the pandemic, we are finally meeting in person to discuss the future of escape room industry. 🧡

With attendees from 4 different continents, this is an incredible opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with fellow franchisees.

Today, we have a jam-packed agenda that includes a welcome speech from our CEO, Bob Melkus, presentations about the future of Fox in a Box room designs, new products, and much more. But we are most excited about our guest speaker, Ken Ferguson, who will provide a unique perspective on escape rooms from the player’s point of view. 🤺 Ken is one of the major influencers in the escape room industry who has played 800+ games, written 1000+ blogs about escape rooms, and is the owner of The Logic Escapes Me blog.

We’ll follow that up with a Q&A panel discussion with both Bob and Ken, talking about our favorite games!
