We are looking for a new full-time live-in nanny / PA to help with 6 year old twins (boy and girl). Parents have two demanding full-time jobs, and need support with the children. They have had British nannies in the past, but would love to find someone who has more of an affiliation with Copenhagen where settling in would be easier, with the potential for more longevity.
Kids are at school every day from 9-2:45. The role would include:
- Mon-Fri 7-7. Kids at school from 9-2:45. No problem for the nanny to take time off during the day, but would like her to use some of the time for nursery duties, tidying, preparing healthy meals, running errands for the family, etc
- Emphasis on healthy eating and meal planning / cooking strength. Parents would like to see the kids challenging their tastes with healthy food, and would greatly appreciate meals for the rest of the family a couple of nights per week
- Tidying and keeping things organized - Family has a cleaning lady 2x per week and a gardener
- Driver is a must - we have an extra car for the nanny, so she would have access to that on the weekends and for personal use as well
- Focus on ability to help kids with reading and writing (english), maths, emotional development, manners, values
- Would like someone more mature - open to an older profile. Hard worker - willing to help out in whatever needs to get done. Pride in her work and seeing the kids develop. Would love some longevity in the position (2+ years)
- Mother is Canadian and father is Danish. Family has a cottage in Canada and travel to Canada over Christmas and during the summer. Family would ask the nanny to be in Canada for 3-4 weeks in July with the kids while mother works during the week from there or travel to the US.
- Vacation: 2-3 weeks off in late July / early August and over Christmas and New Years. Other vacation to be agreed.
- Father also has 3 older kids (18 year old fully independent; 11 & 13 year olds only with the family Wed evening - Mon morning every other week). The job is focused on the younger twins, but maybe some small additional responsibilities such as making dinner for all of the kids 1 or 2 nights every two weeks.
- Live-in position (large room with private en suite bathroom provided)
- Start date: April 1
- Salary to be negotiated - between net DKK 15.000 and DKK 25.000
