💀MORBID VINYL CLEAR-OUT!💀

It’s time to open the vault and let some of the filth crawl out! 🔥

Selling records from my own collection is never easy, but after years of collecting, space is becoming a serious issue. So, a lot of duplicates, dust collectors and other killers are now looking for new homes. 🤘

And there’s more… As mentioned earlier, a good friend has also handed me an absolutely insane death metal collection, which will be added to the sale. Expect plenty of first pressings, first-time-on-vinyl releases, rare represses and serious underground obscurities — all kept in very good condition.

In other words: this is going to be a fu***ng slaughterhouse! ⚡ From legendary classics to filthy, forgotten underground diseases — there should be something for every sick vinyl maniac.

I’ve already received a huge number of messages from people wanting to reserve specific titles. Unfortunately, I’m not able to reserve records. First come, first served.

The good news is that you’ll have two opportunities to get your filthy hands on them. We’ll be bringing around 2,000 records to the next two events:

SAD BUT TRUE…

The vinyl shelves are overflowing once again, and the time has come to let go of records that have been gathering dust instead of spinning on the turntable. It’s never an easy decision—every album holds memories, and this will probably require a box of tissues.

Over the next few days, I’ll be posting the selected records for sale. I hope they’ll find new homes where they’ll be loved and played as they deserve.

Killtown Bookings Kill-Town Death Fest Vinyl Records 666 at KTDF Metal Market

Dear metalheads,

There are currently many speculations — and unfortunately also some negative comments — about a situation where we actually know very little about the real reasons behind it.

As fans, we can only look at the possibilities and share our own thoughts. In my opinion, there could be several explanations, or perhaps a combination of different factors:

1) The creative partnership between Andy and King may have reached a natural point where both felt that a change was needed. After so many years of creating legendary music together, creative directions and visions can naturally evolve over time.

Personally, I have always felt that the creative peak of King Diamond’s discography was reached with albums like Abigail, Them, Conspiracy and The Eye. For me, the releases that followed never quite reached the same level of magic and impact — although they still contain many great moments and showcase the incredible musicianship of everyone involved.

2) Andy may have reached a point where he wanted to explore a new musical direction and dedicate his energy to another project. A new project of this musical genre may simply not be something that can run alongside King Diamond, and therefore Andy have chosen to step into this new chapter while respecting the incredible legacy and history he has helped create with King Diamond.

3) King’s priorities in life may have changed, with family and personal life becoming an even bigger focus. Creating a new King Diamond concept has always been a very detailed and ambitious process, and great things often take time.

Whatever the reason behind this decision, we should remember the enormous contribution both Andy and King have made to metal history. Their collaboration has created some of the most iconic moments in heavy metal, and their legacy is undeniable.

Thank you to both for the amazing music.

These are only my personal thoughts and reflections — not facts.

UNDERRATED OSDM from the Early ’90s – Part 25

🇸🇪 AFFLICTED – Prodigal Sun (1992) is one of the most overlooked gems in Swedish death metal. Blending technical death metal, progressive songwriting, and memorable melodic guitar work, Afflicted pushed the genre far beyond the typical Stockholm sound. Despite releasing the album through Nuclear Blast and earning a strong underground reputation, the band never received the recognition they truly deserved.

Highlights like “Harbouring the Soul” showcase intricate riffing, relentless drumming, and fearless songwriting, while the album’s mix of classic demo material and new compositions captures a band evolving at full speed. It may not be flawless, but Prodigal Sun remains an essential listen for fans of old-school death metal, progressive death metal, and early ’90s extreme metal.

An important gem in my collection. Do you know this album?

It’s heartbreaking to learn that Lou is gone.

I’ve always had a deep love for Sick of It All, and I’ve seen them live countless times over the years.
I even played in a band that covered SOIA songs, and hardcore, punk, and crossover have always been a huge part of my musical life.

The energy at their shows was something special, and Lou was a true master at connecting with and commanding the crowd. (This was long before mosh pits turned into karate pits.)

Rest in peace, Lou Koller. And f**k cancer.

AARGGHH…!
The news that Andy LaRocque is leaving King Diamond hits hard.

Even with the newly announced addition of Gus G. on guitar, it’s difficult for me to imagine a true King Diamond comeback with a new album that delivers everything we’ve been hoping for. The story and concept will undoubtedly be compelling—but can the music live up to the legendary standard that has defined King Diamond’s classic albums for decades?

What do you think? Can a new lineup capture the same magic, or is an era coming to an end?

In the meantime, I’ll revisit one of the greatest collaborations in heavy metal history and simply say thank you, Andy LaRocque, for the unforgettable riffs, solos, and songwriting that helped shape the unique King Diamond universe. 🤘
