Cph Listening Room Every Sunday in central Copenhagen. Songwriter concert and open mic. Sign-up for open mic at the venue Entrance is free for all. The address is Hørsholmsgade 20.

Every Sunday features 14 open mic spots for songwriters and a 30 minute set from a prebooked featured artist. Enquiries about booking, including music link, to: [email protected]

Cph Listening Room is a dedicated songwriter venue, run by volunteers on a non-profit basis. It is known f

or its attentive audience, welcoming volunteers, committed hosts, pro sound, and its international and cozy atmosphere. Open mic spots are 10 minutes (usually 2 songs). Sign up in person with the host of the night at 19:15. All songs must be original and played live (no covers, no backing tracks). House guitar and baby grand piano available to all performers, but you are also welcome to bring your own instruments of choice. Our Listening Rooms are held at H2O Cph, a venue in the Nørrebro part of town. More info about the venue at:

What even is this chord? C-maj7 #9
I want to help decode some of music’s more “heady” side and get you familiar with the map of jazz harmony.
You’ll get a rough overview of how to interpret chord symbols, understand functional harmony and how chords work in context.
Then I’ll give some tips about how to discover and use chords in your music.
