The quartet Landless spellbinds audiences with shimmering vocal harmonies as they bring centuries-old Irish folk songs to life. Expect a spine-tingling experience as the four singers fill the room with their powerful voices.

The concert is presented in collaboration with ALICE cph.

Þorhildur & Thora (IS/DK) + Nina Karpinska (PL/DK)

Final Descent is back at Metronomen with another edition of Grains – our intimate, small-capacity concert series showcasing emerging musicians and new projects.

New duo blending Þórhildur Magnúsdóttir’s and Thora Kidon Jæger’s viola and double bass, combining noise and free improvisation, followed by a site-specific performance by Copenhagen-based Polish artist Nina Karpinska bringing together folk motifs, electronic improvisation and storytelling.

Grains is supported by Sparekassen Danmark Fonden Himmerland.

13.11.26: Hands On Fire + entrance/d @ Huset på Stairway

Join us for a night of collective intensity with two Copenhagen projects working at the edges of free jazz, noise, repetition and extreme music.

Hands On Fire brings a ten-piece collision of doom-heavy grooves, no-wave guitar, horns, strings and free improvisation, while entrance/d appears in a stripped-down duo formation, building ecstatic states through repetition, exhaustion and dense walls of sound.

The concert marks the release of Hands On Fire’s debut album and is presented together with Movement Shaped Like A Heart.

We are very sorry to inform that the performance by Nuees planned for September 18 at LiteraturHaus has unfortunately been cancelled due to circumstances out of our hands.

Elizabeth Vogler will be performing as planned, and we will be announcing another act instead.

We are working to announce the replacement act as soon as possible.
