🇨🇱🎭 This past week, ASSITEJ International has been in Santiago, Chile, for our Executive Committee meeting, held in the context of Festival Internacional de Teatro Familiar Famfest Chile and EXPOESCENA.

Alongside our internal work, we have had the chance to connect with the local and regional theatre community: attending performances, taking part in EXPOESCENA's professional programme, joining the Internationalisation Workshop led by 🌎, and a presentation by Gonzalo Moreno introducing ASSITEJ, as well as meeting with the ASSITEJ Ibero American Network.

We also visited Balmaceda Arte Joven Metropolitana and Centro Cultural Estación Mapocho, attended the launch of Hablemos Claro 🎧, a podcast created by and for children and adolescents, and shared many conversations and encounters around the work we do for children and young people.

It has been a few days full of theatre, exchange and new connections, a reminder of the importance of coming together, sharing perspectives and strengthening our international network.

🙏 A big thank you to Te Veo Assitej Chile for welcoming us, making these encounters possible and for creating such a wonderful space for connection and exchange.

🌍 While welcoming this direction, On the Move highlights several areas where the proposal could go further:

🔸 Strengthening the cross-sectoral dimension of international mobility
🔸 Creating a dedicated stand-alone programme for at-risk and displaced artists and cultural practitioners
