Beautiful new works by Arno Kortschot and I am so delighted to have one added to my collection!

Posted • New works in the studio.
These hand folded monochrome wall sculptures started as an experiment but seem to be great independent art pieces and a few have already found their way to some great art collectors.
A great start of the new year!

One of my favourite artist on view at David Zwirner, London.

Posted • “Flavin introduced a new aspect to visual art: the pouring, or flooding of color into space. By diffusing in all directions, the light creates a volume of color. Within this volume, however, color becomes visible only when it touches a reflecting plane, such as a wall, a floor, the ceiling, furniture or people.” —Marianne Stockebrand on

Presented across two floors of our London gallery, Dan Flavin: colored fluorescent light re-create the artist’s momentous exhibitions at Leo Castelli Gallery and Galerie Heiner Friedrich in New York and Cologne in 1976, and figure as important early instances of his innovative use of color and serial progressions in response to architectural space. Tap the link in bio to plan your visit to see the exhibition, on view at through February 18, 2023.

Twice now I have enjoyed Skyspace by the American artist, James Turrelll. The installation is especially designed for museum Voorlinden. Turrell created a space with a square opening in the roof. In case of a clear sky, you can look up and get a whole new experience of looking at the blue sky. If the weather is not so good, the roof is closed and you can see a light programme that Turrell composed. I experienced both and enjoyed them equally!

Repost from Paola Lenti. An recommended account to follow!

Posted • "Roni Horn: When I See You in the Water, Do You Feel the Water in You?" Exhibition at the Pola Museum of Art , Japan.
Roni Horn, one of America’s foremost contemporary artists employs a wide range of media, including photography, sculpture, drawing and books, and many of her works focus on the nature of water, which adapt its form and appearance depending on relationships with its environment and surroundings. The glass sculptures, among her most prominent works of recent years, feature surfaces that modify their colour according to the light in the different moments of the day, highlighting impermanence and changement.
