Hypnotic, immersive, and endlessly inventive, Bitchin Bajas create expansive soundscapes that blur the lines between psych, electronic experimentation, ambient music and cosmic jazz. The Chicago-based trio has earned a devoted following for their mesmerizing live performances, where pulsing rhythms, analog synth textures and meditative grooves unfold into deep, transportive journeys.
In the wake of their acclaimed album Inland Sea, Bitchin Bajas release a new EP on Drag City Records on 12 Inch in July 2026. Sourced from Inland See’s sessions, The Isle Peaks EP explores different quadrants of the Bajas electronic acoustic universe, combining textures of sampled kalimba, field recordings, autoharp, and the EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument) into a danceable and dreamy result.
Whether drifting through shimmering atmospheres or locking into motorik-driven repetition, Bitchin Bajas invite audiences to lose track of time and sink into a richly layered sonic experience that is equal parts dreamlike, adventurous and profoundly captivating.
