P-NOiSE P-NOiSE Festival aims to promote the innovative arts and culture of the creative scene in the Philip

There is a rich creative scene in the Philippines that grows richer and richer with the progression of awareness in human rights, freedom of expression, environmental issues, and local industry empowerment. There is a movement that continuously redefines and reshapes the Pinoy identity of today, anchored in a long and rich history, but always leading the way to the contemporary. We embrace this ne

w wave and its diversity and traditions innovative and creative way by giving it a fresh platform through our festivals. We believe in the fierceness and liveliness of Filipino culture, from its traditional roots to its colorful contemporary, where its artistic scene has transcended the geopolitical borders of its territory. From an ongoing movement from the counter-culture born in its core in the seventies, the art from the Philippines has for the past years reached an echo from beyond its boundaries, where countless artists have been invited awarded, invited and recognized at international festivals and exhibitions all around the world. P-NOiSE is meant to be a platform for challenging and yet-to-be known Filipino artists to showcase and express their vision, and aim at grasping this exciting and groundbreaking movement, and bring it in Scandinavia. We also aim at displaying Filipino culture and identity in its broadest and most genuine extent, by supporting and help recognizing the contemporary works of those artists. We fully support this creative and innovative movement in art, music and film, which will ultimately grow stronger and even more challenging.

The Metropolitan Theatre is now restored. A beautiful Grand Reveal 😍

In 2016 we were lucky to get permission from National Commission for Culture and the Arts, to do a 2 day performance in the warn down, charming and historical building of Manila.

Here’s how we, in collaboration with Nordlys, Beats Accross Boarders and various of Nordic and local artists, worked with the space;

Kristoffe Biglete has been invited to the podcast Denmāku from the The Lake, which focuses on people with asian background involved in the arts & culture scene.

"In this episode we’ve invited Kristoffe Biglete in the studio of Denmaku. We’ll hear why Biglete came to Denmark, and we talk about his work and his affiliation with Filipino art collective P-NOiSE in Copenhagen. Biglete tells the story of how he met and worked with the Filipino artist Carlos Celdran (1972-2019), known for his liberal opposition towards the government and his tours inside Intramuros, the historical center of Manila."

Our team are deeply saddened by the racism being hurled against our Asian sisters and brothers, particularly in the US, where the hatred has become all too common and widespread. We lend our symbol to the movement combatting this. We urge you to help STOP ASIAN HATE ✌🏽

We are a team of mixed heritage Asians and Europeans that came together in 2012 for 1 main goal: to showcase Filipino Art to the world. We have proudly had 5 international festivals in Copenhagen, Paris, and Manila, as well as a virtual festival that took place within the first few months of lockdown in 2020.

We want everyone to know that Filipinos are not only hardworking and skilled as labourers, but gifted with artistic talent and possessing a heritage of ancient indigenous tradition. We want to show the beauty of Filipino Art: contemporary dance, visual art, independent films, music, and indigenous art. Just as important, we hope that the artists and the audience have cross-cultural exchange and make meaningful connections.⠀⠀
