En omrejsende festival gæster lige nu Danmark med et udvalg af håndplukkede musikere fra hele Norden. Onsdag nåede karavanen til Aarhus, og over to aftener præsenterede Lux Boreal fire acts i den særegne sal Helsingør Teater i Den Gamle By.

Johanna Elina Sulkunen, Tapani Toivanen, and Johanna Borchert on the way to Aarhus to play at the stunning Helsingør Theater in Den Gamle By and Christian Wallumrød Ensemble in Aarhus the day after their moving concert in the same room.

Here's your Lux Boreal producer Isabel having a proud moment seeing the Lux Boreal announcement up outside of Victoriateatern.

On Thursday I went to Victoriateatern in Malmö to hear Mostar Sevdah Reunion . I've been a big fan of their albums for 20 years now and finally got to hear them live! Their current lead singer Antonija Batinić gave a stunning performance, that's still reverberating days afterwards...

What made it an extra special evening is how Victoriateatern has set up the room for the audience!
Did you know that you can bring your own picnic basket of dinner and drinks (and table cloth if you really want to go crazy)? When you buy tickets to a show you're reserving a table and at that table you can make it as cozy and personal as you want. And the room is small enough that from every table you still feel like you have contact with the band. You really feel like you are sharing an experience with them. This makes for a truly magical and personal concert experience.

The last concerts on the 2023 Lux Boreal road are presented by HUSET in Copenhagen in the Xenon room, a black box theater located on the top floor. Huset is a legendary cultural hub in the center of the city. On every given night there can be 4 to 5 events happening, indie-cinema, experimental theater, concerts, political activism meetings, and fervent board game playing with beer and nachos. We are so proud that that the final concerts of this year will happen in this very special place.
