The past 10 months have been spent solely focused on creating wedding / hen party fluff!
I am a believer in saving money wherever I can & if I can make something myself, I refuse to pay someone else (sorry etsy)
● Bridal bouquets cost between £80-100 so I spent £38 on shein & created my own & made 5 bouquets.
● I designed all our wedding signs & hen t-shirts using the canva app courtesy of my cousins' log in. With thanks to Kingsley and his sister for printing the hen t-shirts when others couldn't get the design to work. Etsy wanted £25 per tshirt & I paid £43 for 5x
● Thanks to Morgs workplace for printing our bottle stickers, let love glow, welcome sign & for creating our guest book tombstone.
● Using my favourite paper mache technique, I used old books from my Nan & Grandads house to make the books look vintage/worn. Then, painting them using a dry brush technique. I did the same for our post box, which was bought flat packed off amazon. All was free except the kitchen roll used ofc
● Crow on the skull I painted again dry brushing technique to make look more realistic and less tacky was only a £10 gold skull from Asda - picture frames cost me £3.50 for 7 frames as they were reduced in the range
● I purchased 5x candelabra's from FB marketplace for £10 and spray painted them silver from rose gold - to buy new candelabra are between £15-50 each
● no photo on post but I also used picart tool to hand design our invites. Me and my sister cut and stuck all the invites by hand! The invites I wanted were £120 on etsy - I created mine spending only £25 on glitter card, ribbons and envelopes from amazon and the range.
I saved so much money being a lil DIY'er for our wedding day! 🎃🖤
