She believes stories have the power to move us, to connect us and to reveal something so true about what it means to be human.
Her acting journey started when she was 10 and at 11 she landed her first main role in the German TV series 4 gegen Z, which she was part of for several years.
Throughout her teenage years, she continued working in various film and television productions before deepening her acting craft through formal acting studies and theatre.
After becoming a mother of two kids and building a life in Sweden, Jessica is now returning to acting with more life experience, renewed depth and tons of creative fire and passion.
She sees herself particularly drawn to film projects that explore the richness and complexity of the human experience. Exploring depth, transformation, resilience, intimacy, honesty and vulnerability.
Jessica loves character-driven work that feels real, vulnerable and meaningful.
Her approach to acting is both intuitive and grounded, allowing her to embody characters with nuance, softness and strength.
She loves exploring and expressing through movement, dance and voice, being in the body, feeling a great passion for abstract art forms and music too.
Alongside her artistic work, Jessica has a background in somatic coaching, embodiment practices and working as a mentor and group facilitator, which brings an additional layer of sensitivity and nuance to her character work. This holistic understanding of the inner world deeply informs her artistry and connection to storytelling.
Jessica believes that film and storytelling can build bridges between people, awaken compassion and can remind us of our shared humanity.
For her, stepping into character and collaborating with other artists is both a profound creative process and a great joy.
Otherwise she enjoys a simple family life with her loved ones in Sweden.
