The delicious smell of pizza invited us inside the Raw Power Games office in Copenhagen. We instantly felt a sense of community, coziness and friendliness, and got really excited to play test Tectonicus: On the Edge of War! 🎮

For those who don’t know, is a bi-monthly volunteer meetup in Copenhagen, where Indie game developers play test digital and physical games, provide constructive feedback, and connect. Why do we go? Because we believe that the best games are built from collaborative effort, fueled by fresh perspectives 🛠️

Nothing beats the “scary-cool” adrenaline that hits when you watch someone else play your game for the first time. We were so determined to see if our mechanics would really click once the cards hit the table, and the pressure was on! We were looking for some raw power in our feedback - and the community delivered! From students presenting their passionate projects, to independent and company developers…

Our hosts Raw Power Labs even surprised everyone with the extra topping on pizza: a great tech discussion about what they are currently developing, a small AI model. Huge thank you for sponsoring such an epic evening! 🍕🥤

We loved seeing so many passionate projects gathered in the same place, eager to improve, learn from others, and create connections. We left the event inspired, fueled by pizza and drinks, and absolutely ready to take Tectonicus to the next level. 📈

Haven’t tried our game yet? Play Tectonicus: On the Edge of War on Itch.io now and let us know your thoughts!

A while ago, we had the opportunity to pitch at Pitch & Pitchers: CSE x DTU Edition at Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship(CSE). It was an energizing experience for our team.

The event brought together early-stage startups from the CSE and DTU Skylab to pitch their projects, and get feedback in a supportive, community-driven setting. It was one of those moments where the room was filled with energy, ideas, and passion. We are still grateful to the organizers for creating such an open and engaging space for startups to connect and learn from each other.

At the event, we presented our upcoming board game, which is a project we are working on that goes beyond gameplay. Our aim is to show how entertainment can spark awareness and action around the green transition by engaging players in decisions about prioritising adaptation versus mitigation, upgrading infrastructure for long-term resilience, and other strategic choices that reflect the challenges at the core of the green transition.

That purpose shapes every part of the game: from using recycled materials in our production to developing mechanics that encourage players to think about resource use, long-term impact, and collective decision-making. These choices may seem simple, but together they form the foundation of what the game stands for.

Reflecting on that day reminds us why we began building this, and why we continue. The event gave us a stage to share what we want the game to reflect: the practical challenges we all face as we pursue the green transition;, and showing that even small actions can influence a larger environmental outcome. The pitch made us refine how the game does that, and it strengthened our commitment to building something that is both meaningful and fun.

🔗 We’d love to keep the conversation going. How do you think the game industry can play a role in driving the green transition? Let’s explore it together as we gear up to unveil what we’ve been working on. Check us out: www.gamucatex.com

The Game Is Changing...

Tech has never been a “boys’ club.”It’s just been waiting for more players to hit ‘Start’.

At WomenHack Copenhagen, we saw it happening in real time as women came together to rewrite the rules of the game.

Thank you WomenHack and Tactile Games for hosting such an incredible event. What we found there wasn’t just talent, it was a community driven by curiosity, passion, and a shared belief that collaboration is how real innovation starts.

Some of the highlights were those spontaneous chats that turned into plans we can’t wait to explore, and those instant connections where both sides just know we should build something together.

For us, WomenHack wasn’t just another event. It was a reminder that the gaming world is evolving because people care, create, and think differently.

If you were there, or if you’re curious about what we’re building, we’d love to connect.😎

💡 Visit gamucatex.com and see what we’re working on. Let’s make something incredible together!

Last year, when we joined in Copenhagen, we met so many brilliant women full of ideas and creativity. Some of the talented people we connected with even went on to join our team and brought so much value to us.

This year, we’re coming back! On October 23rd, you will find speed-interviews with us, where you can get to know who we are, and most importantly: we want to hear your stories, and you'll also get a sense of where you might grow your career, whether as a producer, developer, or in our soon-to-open marketeer role.

If you're going to join the event, stop by our table and let's chat about what matters to you.

Thank you, WomenHack , for creating spaces like this that matter. We’re proud to support the mission.

Come and visit us at HQ:

What a day at SpilBar 63: Cardboard & Code!

This Thursday was an amazing opportunity for us to share Tectonicus with the community, and we couldn’t have asked for a better crowd. We loved seeing people dive into the game and hearing your thoughts.

Beyond showcasing our latest version, we also received valuable feedback, met fellow developers and designers, and connected with talented students and young professionals who are shaping the future of Danish game development.

We really appreciate SpilBar 63 for bringing this event to life, and thanks to everyone who stopped by our table to play, chat, and share your perspectives — it truly means a lot. 🙌

Until next time, we’ll keep exploring how games transform across mediums. And if you missed the chance to play Tectonicus, you can still check it out here

Long before keyboards and controllers, we gathered around boards of wood and stone. Today, those same mechanics and narratives flow between cardboard and code, shifting from table to screen.
How do games transform when they move between the physical and the digital?

Thanks to 63 for holding this great event, we’ll have a great opportunity to explore this with game developers, enthusiasts and share our ideas. And we want you to join us!

Today we’ll be at SpilBar 63 : CardboardCode with our game Tectonicus. Come play with us and see how the experience of play transforms! We're looking forward to sharing ideas and playing with you all!

🌟 What a journey! Our time at the Circular Lab at Roskilde Festival 2025 has been incredible!

🛡️ Over the past few days, we’ve run immersive activities, tested our game “Tectonicus” with amazing festival-goers, and explored the Viking spirit through creativity and play.

🎮 Festival fun, GAMUCATEX style:

Decoding hidden Nordic messages through a rune-writing puzzle

Drawing your own Viking; creating a variety of characters and voting on them via social media

Crafting drinking horns, Viking ship origami, playing Viking Legacy the board game, and playtesting “Tectonicus”

💬 A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, joined an activity, shared feedback, or just came to hang out. Your energy made it all worthwhile.

🤝 It was a pleasure to experience the creativity and dedication of Nøgensnegl , Second Life Label, and Recraft in the Circular Lab.
💚 A special thank you to The Circular Laboratory for making us feel so welcome and supporting such a creative community.

🎉 Thanks for being part of the adventure! Catch us on the next adventure with GAMUCATEX!
