The moment in time this painting search to depict, is where acceptance and letting go to the unavoidable takes its place.
It’s a moment no one can predict the individual perception of. The moment of accepting, surrendering to reality of death.
The title is: “Silence before the last song”
Different cultures around the world have been practicing a tradition of singing a death song, to announce both to friend and enemies before a battle that they fully embrace death and enter this specific battle in the state of not saving themselves, but will fight from a place accepting that they are already dead, in order to defeat the enemy.
Such a vow is not about dying, but about living 100% to your fullest, activating your potential and abilities 100%, striking without hesitation to live to your fullest extend taking ownership of the circumstances and the situation.
As I came through my door this morning this sight was the first that cought my eye!
The sun light falling on the face of the warrior from down infront. Like from the next step.
I saw it as a symbol of, that in the complete acceptance of death, of that nothing lasts forever, lives the first step infront of you in direction of life.
I smiled, as I for two months have been struggling finding my direction, but lately am stepping more and more confident, rising in my truth and strength again once more.
